ALBUM
The debut album “One Endless Night” (XJAZZ!Music) from jazz singer Anna Margolina is a personal remembrance of her immigration story from Minsk to Berlin. After 30 years since her arrival, the record shares Anna`s experience of abandonment and loneliness, the search for new identity and a sense of belonging, the conflict with the demons of her past and the redeeming kindness of strangers along the way. More than ever, there is need for a hopeful story of arrival.

Anna Margolina's album is a deeply personal narrative of her journey from Minsk to Berlin. It explores themes of exile, loneliness, and the quest for identity and belonging. Among the tracks, "Cold Waters" stands out, capturing a profound sense of alienation and emotional isolation prevalent in today's society. The song uses the metaphor of being a lone island - embodied by the brilliant performance of Sarah Nevada.
